ISPR: COAS left for Spain on official visit to attend NATO Chiefs of Defence meeting
RAWALPINDI, September 14, 2011 (PPI): Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left here for Spain on Wednesday on official visit to attend NATO Chiefs of Defence meeting.
During his visit, the COAS will meet senior military leadership of Spain and other NATO countries. He is also scheduled to deliver a talk to the Chiefs of Defence of NATO countries, on Pakistan Army's Efforts in Global War on Terror.
Earlier, the COAS was seen off at Chaklala Airport by senior military officials and Ambassador of Spain to Pakistan.
