JI leader Liaquat Baloch criticizes govt. for neglecting rain-affected people of Sindh

Kot Ghulam Muhammad, September 19, 2011 (PPI): Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Liaquat Baloch says that the members of all the political parties should resign from parliament feeling ashamed of corruption, plunder of national wealth, bloodshed and lawlessness in the country.

“The hundreds of thousands of rain-affected people of Sindh are living under open sky without any help and the rulers are touring abroad or are busy in robbing the national exchequer,” he said here last night addressing a ceremony held for distributing the relief goods among rain-affected people.

Liaquat Baloch said all the small and big towns of Sindh including Kot Ghulam Muhammad, Jhudo, Digree, Naukot, Tando Jan Muhammad, Samaro, Kunri, Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar are worst affected by the flash floods and pledged that his party would continue to serve the affected people.

Criticizing the MQM, ANP and PPP, the JI leader alleged that three parties were involved in Karachi violence. “They have become Mafias.” Liaquat Baloch also criticized PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and alleged him of being involved in the ‘game’ of ‘power sharing’. Earlier, Muhammad Hanif Qaimkhani of Al-Khidmat, a JI wing, alleged that relief goods were being given to PPP activists and the rain-affected people were living without any help.
