Sports Cricket Zimbabwe need to be a little more consistent: Taylor

Harare, September 19, 2011 (PPI): Captain Brendan Taylor took heart in Zimbabwe's performance in final Twenty20 Cricket International despite falling to five-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan, who for their triumphant effort landed a two-nil series victory.

He said "It's a massive boost for us to know that we are playing good cricket but we need to be a little more consistent. We showed better character." With Test & ODI wins over Bangladesh recently at home overshadowed by Test, ODI & T20I losses to Pakistan, Taylor looked forward to his side improving against New Zealand in October. "We are going to work even harder than we did for this series. We are willing to learn and willing to get better fast so we can prove to the world that we can be competitive."
