JUI leader Senator Ghafoor Hyderi revival of MMA

Umerkot, September 26, 2011 (PPI): Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) and opposition leader in Senate, Senator Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi said here Monday that revival of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal MMA), an alliance of religious parties, was the need of hour to bring an end to the sectarianism in the country.

Talking to the media on the occasion of distributing relief goods among rain-affected people in Umerkot, he said the rulers were following the pro-US policy but now the time has come to get rid of pro-US policies but unfortunately the rulers are not prepared for change. Maulana Hyderi criticized the America alleging that it wanted hegemony here on the pretext of Haqani Group, for which it has been alleging Pakistan having links with it.

Earlier, addressing the rain-affected people, JUI leader said his party has reservations over the relief operation carried out by the government and underlined the need of transparency in relief work. He claimed his party has spent over Rs.20 million on relief work in Sindh. Former federal minister JUI MNA Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman was also present on this occasion.
