Light plane makes emergency landing in WA
SYDNEY (AAP) - Oct 05 - A light aircraft has made an emergency landing on a golf course near Perth's Jandakot Airport.
A police spokeswoman said no-one was injured and the four-seat Cessna 182 appeared intact after landing on a driving range at Melville Glades Golf Course, in the southern suburb of Leeming, just before 3pm (WST) on Wednesday.
A Jandakot witness said it appeared the aircraft had just departed the runway and was turning towards Fremantle when it suffered engine failure and made an emergency landing on the course.
Only the pilot was on board.
Police and State Emergency Service personnel have been sent to the scene.
