Iranian Envoy, Sri Lankan Deputy Minister Discuss Expansion of Ties
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's outgoing Ambassador to Colombo Mohammad Rahimi Gorji met with Sri Lankan Deputy External Affairs Minister Neomal Perera on bilateral ties and cooperation.
At the meeting, the Iranian envoy thanked the Sri Lankan government for its close cooperation in improving the two countries' bilateral relations.
He also praised President Rajapakse's zeal and enthusiasm for bolstering ties and cooperation with Iran.
He further pledged Tehran's support for increased trade relations between the two countries in the coming years.
