Indian leader suspects US-Israel involvement in Egypt violence

New Delhi, Oct 12, IRNA – An Indian leader Tuesday suspected US and Israel involvement in violence erupted in Egypt that claimed around 25 innocent lives.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA Syed Hasan Ahmed, MLA of Delhi Assembly said: “Egypt was calm after Hosni Mubarak’s departure, but US and Israel having hawk eye on all Muslim countries, couldn’t digest that and flared up the riots in that country.

Elaborating his statement, Indian lawmaker said that they (US, Israel along with their allies) needed an excuse for the intervention in another Muslim country. “This is not a new thing. They are adept in this game. They have always find excuse or rather invented and fabricated one for their intervention,” he noted.

Expressing disappointment over the loss of lives, Hasan urged the parties to restrain and understand the conspiracies of the Western powers. “Do not let them succeed in their plots,” Indian leader emphasized.

While condemning the hegemonic and imperialistic policies of US and Israel, he termed them as “killer of innocents”./end
