Iran expresses concern over clampdown on Yemeni peaceful protest
Tehran, Oct 16, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman, in reaction to the violent measures of the Yemeni government on Saturday, expressed concern over the clampdown on the peoples' peaceful protests.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Ramin Mihman-parast said that while the Yemenis are following their demands peacefully, government forces have killed or wounded tens of them with semi-heavy weapons or lethal gas.
He condemned the violent action of the Yemeni government.
The spokesman expressed regret over such oppressive actions as well as over silence of international organizations and underlined that these measures will make situation more complicated and the sole solution to the crisis is a peaceful response to legitimate demands of the people./end
