Turkey has been compelled to host NATO radar system : Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN,Nov.8 (MNA)-- During a recent interview with the Egyptian state-owned newspaper Al Akhbar,Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke about the fact that Turkey has agreed to host an early warning radar as part of NATO’s missile defense system, which is ostensibly meant to counter an alleged ballistic missile threat from Iran. “We are a friend of Turkey and have good and friendly relations with this country. We believe that the issue of the deployment of NATO’s radar system has been imposed on the Turkish nation, and it harms the interests of this country and all regional nations. We have clearly expressed our view on that to our Turkish friends.”
