OVER 400 TONS OF CEREALS PRODUCED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ By the first of November of 2011, some 445 thousand ton of cereals, 199.3 thousand ton of potatoes, 98.3 thousand ton of vegetables were harvested, and 1,145.3 thousand ton of hay harvest, 43.0 thousand ton of handmade fodder and 2.3 thousand ton of silage crops were produced. Compared to same period of the previous year, cereals rose by 99.2 thousand ton or 28.7 percent, potatoes by 43.7 thousand ton or 28.1 percent, vegetables by 21.3 thousand ton or 27.7 percent, hay harvest increased by 41.9 thousand ton or 3.8 percent, and handmade fodder rose by 13.4 thousand ton or 45.3 percent.
