Iran`s children theater festival introduces new books
TEHRAN,Nov. 12 (MNA) -- Iranian stage greats introduced books offered at the International Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults during a ceremony on Wednesday in Hamedan.
Manuchhehr Akbarlu introduced a book during the ceremony attended by children’s theater expert Davud Kianian and stage artist Qotbeddin Sadeqi.
“A Window toward Literature of Children and Young Adults”, a book containing published and unpublished plays Davud Kianian has written in past 40 years, was unveiled at the event.
“A Study on the impact of Creative Play on Children’s Educative Process” by Bita Mahmudi, was another book introduced at the event.
The Persian translation of Noel Greig’s “Young People, New Theater” and Nellie McCaslin’s “Creative Drama in the Classroom and Beyond” by Hossein Fadaei-Hossein were also among the foreign works introduced at the event.
Iraj Sadeqi-Tari’s “Dad is not Fearful”, Hassan Hajarpur’s “Play”, Neda Abrar-Paydar’s “The Ginger Bread Little boy”, Fariba Raisi’s “Soleiman and Samardun” and Huckleberry Finn Adventures” by Masud Shahkarami were selected plays of the festival.
The festival was held November 6 to 11 in Hamedan.
