Iranian short films screened in Belarus
TEHRAN,Nov. 13 (MNA) -- The Minsk International Film Festival -- Listapad in Belarus screened selected films from Iran’s International 100-Second Film Festival.
The festival, which started November 5, screened one hundred films from the Iranian festival, public relation official of the 100-Second festival Behnam Bahadori mentioned in a press release.
The Listapad has invited the Iranian festival and on the last day of the festival, Iranian cineastes held workshops for the festival’s participants, Bahadori added.
The International 100-Second Film Festival was held on March 3 and 4 in Tehran.
Listapad is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Executive Committee of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, the Representative Office of the Union Standing Committee.
The festival is held annually in Minsk and has become one of the most important and representative film forums of the post-Soviet era. It presents a selection of feature films and documentaries created in the former Soviet Union and the former socialist countries.
Film studios, TV companies, independent producers etc. can take part in the Festival providing that they hold the copyrights of films to be presented.
