President Ilham Aliyev inspects construction works at city mosque`s new building in Gabala region

Gabala, November 18 (AzerTAc). President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday inspected the construction works at city mosque`s new building in Gabala Region. Mosque`s akhund presented Holy Koran to the Head of State. President viewed the photo gallery reflecting the future look of the mosque. As stated, the construction works of the Mosque with 800 square meters area started in March 2011. The construction works of the two-storey main building, entering staircase, small bridge and 21, 6 meters high minaret of the mosque have been already completed. President Aliyev was informed about the ongoing rebuilding works in the mosque area and main works completed in the private building. The building will have library, service hall, ablution rooms and others. President Ilham Aliyev gave his instructions and recommendations.
