Malta Opposes Discriminatory Approach Towards Iran’s Peaceful N-Program

Rome, Nov 28, IRNA – Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of Malta’s House of Representatives, Francis Zammit Dimech, has dismissed any non-professional and discriminatory approaches towards Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. Speaking to Iranian Ambassador to Italy and Accredited Ambassador to Malta, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini on Sunday, Dimech called for diplomacy and dialog to solve problems and remove misunderstandings. He said diplomacy is the most suitable way to promote cooperation. He added that the power of dialog will lead to peace and engagement among countries. Hosseini, for his part, outlined Iran’s stances on nuclear, human rights, and terrorism issues, while criticizing the West's double-standards. He said members of parliaments can through constant consultations eliminate such approaches, while promoting convergence and peace./end
