Ahmadinejad Commemorates Basij Week

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad celebrated Basij week during a special ceremony here on Monday. During the ceremony which was held in presidential premises, the President paid homage to martyrs. Basij members of his office also participated in the ceremony. They demonstrated their martial arts skills and other military capabilities before the President and then Ahmadinejad reviewed a parade of both male and female Basij members of his staff. Later on, he delivered a speech at the ceremony during which he appreciated the sublime position of the Islamic Revolution martyrs./end
