Arab world developments signify demand for reforms: Namibian foreign minister

TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – Namibian Foreign Minister Utoni Nujoma said that the popular uprisings rolling across the Middle East and North Africa region have their root in the Arab peoples’ demand for reforms in their countries. He also commented on the developments occurring in Egypt and said it is the inalienable right of the Egyptian people to decide on their own destiny. “We have no problem with the people who want to change and improve their living conditions, and we have always supported other countries’ progress,” he added. Elsewhere in his remarks, Nujoma called on Iranians to invest in his country and said Namibia will provide appropriate facilities for Iranian companies. He also expressed satisfaction with the hospitality of Iranian officials during his trip and thanked Iranian nation for their material and spiritual support during Namibia’s struggle for independence.
