Iran`s ECSRC director criticizes Turkey for its stance toward Syria

TEHRAN, Dec.14 (MNA) – The director of the Expediency Council Strategic Research Centre(ECSRC) said that Turkey has gone beyond all limits of diplomatic relations over the issue of Syria through supporting the Syrian opposition groups. Hassan Rohani said that some intend to create the impression that Turkey serves as a model for the popular uprisings rolling across the Middle East and North Africa region. Rohani, who served as Supreme National Security Council chief under the Rafsanjani and Khatami administrations, said the role model of the people is neither the West nor Turkey. Actually, he added, their model is based on their Islamic beliefs.
