Belgrade college hosts seminar on Iran’s tourist attractions

TEHRAN,Dec.17(MNA) -- The College for Tourism in Belgrade hosted a seminar on Iran and its tourism attractions on Thursday that was attended by the Iranian ambassador and cultural attaché. A group of scholars and students from the college attended the seminar, in which the college Headmaster Milan Skakun and ambassador Abolqasem Delfi made short speeches. The western media are trying to give a false image of Iran to the world and it is our duty to familiarize the two nations with the reality by holding these types of seminars, Skakun said. Delfi next said that Iran has been able to make great strides in development with the help of youth and experts in many fields, and is fully capable of meeting its needs. Cultural attaché Farid Eftekhari also talked about Iranian historical and natural tourist attractions and said that Iran is one of the most secure countries in the region for tourists. He also gave detailed information about the historical sites of Persepolis, Pasargadae, Takht-e Soleiman, Bam Citadel and many others by means of slide shows.
