Iran plays influential role in region, Omani FM says

TEHRAN, Dec.18 (MNA) – Omani Foreign Minister Youssef Ben Alawi described the Islamic Republic of Iran as an important and influential country in the region and said it has always played a constructive role in settling the region’s problems. Alawi made the remarks during a recent meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Muscat, Arab media reported. In the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian also submitted Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi’s message to Alawi.
