Registration For Next Parliamentary Elections Starts Dec 24

Zahedan, Sistan & Baluchestan Province, Dec 18, IRNA – Deputy head of elections headquarter and director general of election bureau of Interior Ministry said that registration for the 9th parliamentary elections officialy starts on Saturday December 24, 2011. Hassanali Noori told reporters here on Saturday that the first round of elections will be held in 207 constituencies. Noori added that in this round, 10 percent of votes will vote through internet and in case of good results, the next election will be totally held by internet. He continued that in online voting, code and picture of the candidate can be seen in the internet. The official said that candidates can register from Dec 24 to 30. Casting votes will be on Friday March 2, 2012./end
