Production sector sacrificed for cash subsidy: Iranian MP

TEHRAN, Dec. 20(MNA) – Gholam Reza Mesbahi-Moqaddam, who sits on the Majlis budget and planning committee, said the administration has not fulfilled its commitment to support the production sector, sacrificing it for cash subsidies. According to the subsidy reform plan, while adjusting the price of energy, the administration was tasked to grant subsidy to producers to make them able to use a technology which is economically viable, however the administration did not meet its commitments, Mesbahi-Moqaddam stated.
