ICO Supports Results Of Women Ministers Meeting In Tehran: Advisor

Ankara, Dec 24, IRNA – President Advisor and head of Women Affairs Center Maryam Mojtahedzade said Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) supports results of Islamic countries women ministers meeting in Tehran. Mojtaheadzadeh told IRNA on Friday evening that in her meeting with the Secretary General of OIC Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, he supported results of the women ministers meeting in Tehran. She added that the secretary general also expressed readiness for support of four meetings which are to be held in near future. The advisor continued that in the meetings issues like “ Four top role models of women”, Human Rights”, Removal of violation against women”, and other issues related to women will be discussed. Mojtaheadzadeh is in Istanbul to attend the 2-day conference of “ Islamic Societies and Women Role” . The meeting wrapped up its work on Saturday.
