Modir-Roosta appointed as Shahrdari football coach

TEHRAN,Dec.26(MNA)--Ali-Asghar Modir-Roosta was named as new coach of Shahrdari football team on Saturday. Modir-Roosta replaced Miodrag Jesic at the Tabriz-based football team. Former Iran striker began his coaching career at Paykan in 2008 then left the team to take charge of Pas one year later. Modir-Roosta joined Shahrdari for the rest of the season for an undisclosed fee. Shahrdari is 13th in Iran Professional Football standings table with 20 points.
