Jalili: Any Threats Against Iran Will Receive Severe Response

Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA -- Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Saturday that Iran will give a severe responses to any threats. Jalili made the remark in a conference of Iranian Ambassadors abroad in Tehran. “Iran's interaction is based on sovereignty, logic and initiative,' Jalili said. He said the balance of power in the region is turning against the interests of the US and Zionist regime, leaving negative effects on their relations with other big powers. “Different messages from the West prove their internal differences,' he said, proposing that Group 5+1 come back to the negotiation table and cooperation with Iran. /end
