New U.S. sanctions won’t affect China’s trade with Iran: Beijing

TEHRAN,Jan.4(MNA)--China said that new U.S. sanctions targeting Iran's central bank and its ability to sell petroleum abroad won't affect its business dealings with Tehran, AP reported. China's business dealings with Iran were normal and transparent and did not violate any UN Security Council resolutions, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei told a briefing. Hong also said Beijing opposed unilateral sanctions that go beyond measures taken by the Security Council.
