Islamic awakening has unlocked Muslim nations’ potential against U.S.: Iranian security official

TEHRAN,Jan.7(MNA)-- In a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Tehran on Thursday, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said that the Islamic awakening has unlocked the Muslim nations’ potential against the United States and the Zionist regime. Jalili emphasized the importance of the synergy between the Islamic Republic and Turkey and said it will definitely benefit the Muslim world. Davutoglu said that Iran plays a major role in regional and international arenas and called for expansion of ties between Tehran and Ankara.
