Suspects in $2.6b fraud case to stand trial soon

TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) – Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Wednesday that the indictments issued for the suspects in the $2.6 billion financial fraud case will be referred to the court next week and they will stand trial soon. The most massive financial fraud case in the history of Iran has triggered a wave of resignations and dismissals of the banking officials.
