We watch closely situation of Syrian Freedom Group, says Spokesman Unal

ANKARA (A.A) - The Spokesman for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Selcuk Unal said Thursday that they were watching closely the situation of the Syrian Freedom Group and that "if they are not permitted to enter Syria by Syrian authorities, local Turkish authorities would take the necessary steps".
In a press briefing held in Turkish capital Ankara on Thursday, Selcuk Unal touched on the Syrian youth who named themselves "Freedom Group" and who will try to enter Syria from the Oncupinar Border Gate at the southern province of Kilis.
We understand that this Syrian group is an unofficial one. As the MFA, we have held talks with local Turkish authorities. The procedures for entering and leaving Turkey are generally known. Within this frame, the procedures for the Syrian youth and their wish to enter Syria are known as well, Unal stressed.
If the Syrian Freedom Group is not permitted into Syria, the local Turkish authorities will take the necessary steps. This is an issue we are closely monitoring, Unal underlined.
The Syrian group includes hundreds of Syrian youth. They plan to enter Syria on Thursday at the Oncupinar Border Gate in Kilis province. They aim to bring humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.
