Tunisian Deputy Prime Minister Reza Saidi said that his country was closely following developments in Turkish economy, and considered Turkey as a successful model. "Only even comparing economic figures of 2002 with figures of 2012 indicate the success of Turkish economic model," Saidi told AA correspondent in an exclusive interview. Saidi said Tunisia was planning to boost trade relations with Turkey soon. Reza Saidi visited Turkey for three times before assuming this post, which indicated his close interest in Turkey.
