Tunisia eager to make use of Turkish deputy premier's experiences
TUNIS (A.A) - January 13, 2012 - Tunisian interior minister said on Friday that his country was eager to make use of Turkish deputy prime minister's experiences.
Turkish Deputy Premier Besir Atalay arrived in Tunis to represent Turkey in the celebrations to mark the first anniversary of the Arab Spring.
Tunisian Interior Minister Ali Larayedh welcomed Atalay at the airport, and said Turkey had made great progress in every area in recent years and had increased its influence in the world.
Larayedh said there were things Tunisia would learn from Turkey, and he wanted to make use of Atalay's experiences as a former interior minister.
Celebrations will take place on Saturday.
Larayedh was arrested for political reasons in 1990 and was in prison until last year's revolution.
