Jordanian Websites Misquoted IR Iran Commander

Amman, Jan 23, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Jordan, Mostafa Moslehzadeh, rejected allegations by some Jordanian publications claiming Iran interferes in Jordan's internal affairs. Talking to IRNA on Sunday, Moslehzadeh said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced many times before that Iran respects sovereignty and independence of other countries within the framework of international law. 'The allegations pertaining to Iran's interference in internal affairs of other countries usually takes place by those media which are being controlled by big powers,' he added. Moslehzadeh pointed out that there has been no proof whatsoever for the allegations made the western media and they pursue the objective of creating a rift among Muslim states. He called on Jordan's media not to be deceived by soft war of certain media of the region by maintaining their vigilance. Some Jordanian websites had wrongly quoted a senior commander of Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps, Brigadier General, Qasem Soleimani that the Islamic Republic of Iran interferes in Jordan's internal affairs. In the meantime, Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, also rejected Sunday claims by some regional media who had misquoted Brigadier General Soleimani./end
