Turkey's agricultural products exports up in 2011

ANKARA (A.A) - February 1, 2012 - Turkey's exports of agricultural products increased in 2011. Food, Agriculture & Animal Breeding Ministry stated on Wednesday that Turkey's exports rose 18.5 percent to 134 million USD in January-December 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010. The exports of agricultural products was over the country's average exports figure, said the ministry, adding that agricultural products export rose 20.7 percent to 15.2 billion USD in the mentioned period. The ministry's exports target for 2023 is 40 billion USD.
