Turkish parliament speaker says Turkey needs a new constitution

EDIRNE (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek said on Sunday that Turkey needed a brand new constitution. A draft document would be prepared as of May in accordance with views that would be submitted, Cicek said at a meeting in northwestern province of Edirne. A new constitution was needed for the future of Turkish nation, he said.
