Turkish president welcomes South Korean counterpart on formal visit

ANKARA (A.A) - February 6, 2012 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Monday welcomed his visiting South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-Bak in the Turkish capital, Ankara. Gul greeted Lee with a full military honors at the Cankaya Presidential Residence. The two presidents are set to appear in a joint press conference after their meeting. Lee is the first South Korean president to pay a formal visit in Turkey in seven years.
