Minister of Transportation receives Bhutan's Minister of Works

ANKARA (A.A) - February 8, 2012 - Turkish Minister of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yildirim received Bhutan's Minister of Works and Human Settlements Yeshey Zimba in Ankara on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters while receiving Zimba, Yildirim said that Zimba's visit to Turkey was an historic one. Zimba's visit will be a turning point in our bilateral relations, Yildirim noted. Minister Zimba will hold crucial talks in Turkey and will be received by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Yildirim said. Zimba, in his part, said that he was very pleased to be in Ankara. We are pleased to see Turkey's assistance to the least developed countries. Turkey's approach to the least developed countries should be a model to other well developed countries, Zimba said. We are a small and developing country which has a lot of mountainous areas. We face difficulty in building roads. We will request Turkey's assistance in building roads, Zimba also said.
