President: Enemies Hatching Plots To Stop Construction Of Iran

Iranshahr, Sistan and Baluchestan prov, Feb 13, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said all the schemes and plots by the enemies aimed to stop construction of Iran. The president made the remark Monday morning after inaugurating six road construction projects here in southeastern country. He said the enemies were right to fear the great nation of Iran which enjoys a long history and old civilization because they know that Iran’s growth in economic and scientific areas would create a barrier against their dominance-seeking and expansionist policies. Stressing that colonial powers focus on the weakness and lack of power and growth in certain regional countries, he said these countries receive oil from regional countries and send billions-of-dollars worth of weapons to them. The President noted that if those regional countries were powerful, they would not accept weapons in return for their oil. He stressed that enemies try to create discord among regional countries by sending weapons to them in order to exploit them for their own interests./end
