Lebanese premier wishes quick recovery to Turkish premier
ISTANBUL (A.A) - Lebanon's prime minister wished quick recovery to Turkey's prime minister on Wednesday, Turkish Prime Ministry sources said.
Najip Mikati called Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is resting at home after the second and last stage of digestive system surgery.
During the phone talk, Mikati wished quick recovery to Erdogan.
On Saturday, a Prime Ministry Press Center statement said that Premier Erdogan underwent the second and last phase of a digestion system surgery, the first of which was made on November 26, 2011.
"The surgery lasted for 30 minutes, and was successful," the statement said.
The statement said Erdogan's treatment, thus, ended.
"Mr. Prime Minister's health is extremely well, and he plans to be back in his office within next week," the statement also said.
Erdogan underwent a laparoscopic surgery in his digestive system on November 26, 2011, and was discharged from hospital on November 29.
