''I don't know what the magic of Istanbul is, but you feel you need to visit the city again"

MADRID (A.A) - February 22, 2012 - Famous Spanish singer and actress Monica Molina has said Turkish audience were so friendly, vivid and positive. Molina told the AA correspondent in an art gallery in Madrid, "I've been performing in Turkey for the last 9 years and I now know well about the country and its beautiful audience with which I have established a special relationship. I will give a new concert on February 28 in Istanbul. It was a surprise for me at first to receive a concert offer in Istanbul. Because it was weird. But I believe the music has magic. Music is above the language, no matter in what language you are singing. I think we have got that kind of engagement with the Turkish audience. I know it is very hard to come up with, but feeling is great when you succeed. I'm very happy with that." Molina said she had been thinking about singing in Turkish for a long time. "It is never late to start, but I have to work hard on Turkish music. It is really hard to get into music which you do not know the meanings. I like Leman Sam's music whom I took to stage together with." Asked about increasing number of Spanish artists coming to Turkey in recent years, Spanish singer Molina said, "My friends' comments are incredible who visited Turkey before. They mentioned about Turkey as they had visited heaven. I do not know what the magic of Istanbul is. If you came once, you feel you need to come back again. Istanbul is a tempting city. You are never fed up walking and eating in Istanbul."
