Turkish premier well, expected to return to Ankara by Sunday night

ANKARA (A.A) - February 23, 2012 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's spouse said on Thursday that the premier was well and was expected to return to Ankara by Sunday night. Emine Erdogan said Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan would return to the capital from Istanbul on Sunday night. "Premier Erdogan will be back in the office on February 27," Emine Erdogan told reporters in Ankara. Emine Erdogan said Premier Erdogan would hopefully visit Uludere town of the southeastern province of Sirnak in the following week.  On February 11, a Prime Ministry Press Center statement said that Premier Erdogan underwent the second and last phase of a digestion system surgery, the first of which was made on November 26, 2011. Erdogan underwent a laparoscopic surgery in his digestive system on November 26, 2011, and was discharged from hospital on November 29.
