Syria's Idlib revolutionary council says international community still silent

ANKARA (A.A) - February 24, 2012 - A member of Syria's Idbil Revolutionary Council said on Friday that international community was still remaining silent to incidents in the country.
Abdul Rahim Al-Osmani said their country was a disaster zone, but the international community was still remaining silent to incidents.
"We do not want any meetings. People die here every day," Al-Osmani told Anadolu Agency via internet.
Al-Osmani said security forces were arresting people at random in villages, were torturing the detainees, and they were executing the detainees in fields.
"Therefore, we find many unidentified dead bodies," he said.
Al-Osmani said the administration was set to hold a referendum on the constitution, and the new constitution was worse than the previous one.
"The nation does not have any expectations from the new constitutions. They have only written a new constitution to show that democracy is functioning in the country. However, Syria has turned into a bloodshed, how can you talk about a constitution," Al-Osmani said.
Al-Osmani said they were treating the injured with their own capabilities, and they were short of medicines, adding that they were expecting assistance from international aid organizations like the United Nations (UN).
