Turkey to open embassy in Djibouti
ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey will open an embassy in Djibouti by the end of 2012.
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, who met Djibouti's Mosque Properties & Muslim Affairs Minister Hamoud Abdi Sultan, stated on Thursday that the relations between Turkey and Africa were boosted, adding that Turkey was willing to increase relations with Djibouti too.
Turkey will open an embassy in Djibouti by the end of this year, added Bozdag.
Sultan said that they were pleased with the increasing activity of Turkey in Africa, adding that sympathy towards Turkey rose over Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan's attitude in Davos as well as his courage to visit Somalia.
We would like to act jointly with Turkey regarding Somalia issue, he added.
Sultan also invited Bozdag in Djibouti.
