Bodies of 3 foreign journalists found, says Syrian Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS (A.A) - March 2, 2012 - The bodies of 3 foreign journalists have been recovered in Bab Amro town of the city of Homs, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. According to the state-run Syrian news agency SANA, the bodies of American journalist Marie Colvin, French journalist Remi Ochlik and Spanish journalist Javier Espinosa were found buried under ground. Syrian officials will request DNA samples from respective countries and, once the identities of the journalists get confirmed, the bodies will be handed over to respective embassies. The body of the American journalist would be handed over to the Polish Embassy instead of the U.S. Embassy.
