Iran, Pioneer In Fight Against Illicit Drugs: Soltanieh

Vienna, March 13, IRNA – Iran’s envoy to the Vienna-based international bodies said here on Monday the Islamic Republic of Iran has been playing a unique role in global fight against drug trafficking. Ali Asghar Soltanieh, who is also Iran’s Permanent Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said Tehran is pioneer in anti-drug campaign. He made the remark while talking to IRNA on the eve of the 55th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND).
