By Joshua Foong LONDON, March 29 (Bernama) -- Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) is organising a series of international outreach and engagement sessions in the United Kingdom from March 27 to April 7. These sessions which include Networking Dinners for Malaysian professionals and CV Writing and Interview Workshops for Malaysian students, will be held in Newcastle, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. TalentCorp is also supporting several career fairs which are endorsed by TalentCorp under its Career Fair Incentive. Under this scheme, Malaysian companies participating in the career fairs are offered double tax incentives. These fairs are organised by the UKEC, the largest representation of Malaysian students in the UK, in collaboration with Graduan. The UKEC-Graduan Career Fair is a full-day event open to all Malaysian students based in the UK. The largest employment event for Malaysian students based in the UK will be held at the University College London this Sunday. Another Career Fair had been held at Northumbria University for Malaysian students in the northern region, Wednesday. "With the growing demand for experienced and skilled engineers for some of Malaysia’s top economic sectors, this year’s Career Fair is also expected to see increased participation from the country’s best engineering firms," Talent Corp said in a statement. "With the aim of fostering greater awareness and interest in the many career options available in Malaysia, the annual event provides Malaysian students the chance to learn about the dynamic career opportunities and secure jobs in 40 leading companies and organisations such as Securities Commission Malaysia, Sime Darby, PwC, CIMB Group among others," it said. Talent Corp is also in the UK to engage working Malaysian professionals based here. It is holding a Professionals Networking Dinner, to serve as a platform for the creation of a global network of Malaysian talents by connecting Malaysian professionals overseas with companies driving Malaysia's economic transformation. Taking place this Friday at the London Royal Horticultural Halls, the event will connect more than 200 Malaysian professionals with representatives from Malaysia’s leading companies across Malaysia’s major economic sectors including the Financial Services, Communications Content and Infrastructure, and Engineering to explore scope for collaboration and professional opportunities available in Malaysia.
