Port Dickson Malaysia Water Festival 2012 From May 4 to 6

SEREMBAN (Malaysia), April 24 (Bernama) -- The Port Dickson Malaysia Water Festival 2012 is scheduled to be held for three days from May 4 at Pantai Cahaya in Port Dickson. Negeri Sembilan Tourism, Unity, Culture, Arts, Heritage and Malay Customs Committee chairman Mohammad Razi Kail said many activities have been planned for the event. "Among them are the PD International Jet Ski Challenge 2012, Port Dickson Night Beach Run 2012, Port Dickson Paintball Beach Challenge 2012, Port Dickson Fishermen's Carnival 2012 and Battle of the Bands Port Dickson 2012. "More than RM80,000 in cash prizes, consolation prizes and trophies would be offered during the festival," he told Bernama Monday. He said the festival is organised by the office of the Tourism Ministry in Negeri Sembilan with the co-operation of the state government. "We are targeting more than 130,000 visitors this time," he added. -- BERNAMA
