GEORGE TOWN (Penang, Malaysia), May 9 (Bernama) -- Taiwanese director Feng Kai was amazed withPenang and hopes to shoot its future movies here as more Taiwanese are keen to explore the hidden beauty in Malaysia. He said Penang, a northern state of Malaysia has various features suitable for movie making such as the beaches, people, heritage and cultures. "I hope to shoot a movie in Penang because it has many nice views, beaches as well as good weather," he told reporters after presenting its first movie, Din Tao: Leader of the Parade, here Tuesday. Also present were lead cast Alan Kuo and Alien Huang Hung-Sheng. He said the movie was shown in Taiwan during the Chinese New Year and it was a box office with sales of about RM33 million. "We hope Malaysians will support this movie as it features the beauty of Taiwan. I believe the movie will capture the people's interest," he said. The movie is about renewing the spiritual credibility of Din Tao by filling traditional symbols with new inspirations and reconciling rifts between generations, rival troupes and homegrown cultures.
