Tommy Bahama Makes Foray Into Singapore With Opening Of First Store

Embracing the brand’s notion of “Make life one long weekend”, the Tommy Bahama Singapore store serves to bring to the thriving city a fresh definition of celebrating the good life, combining island-inspired living with comfort and quality. Tommy Bahama is expanding its footprint in Asia with the strategic opening of four retail stores in Macau, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The Singapore outlet will be the first store in the SEA region. Its President and Chief Operating Officer Doug Wood said: “2012 is the perfect time to bring Tommy Bahama’s island-inspired lifestyle to Asia Pacific. “The grand opening of our Singapore store is a true testament of Tommy Bahama’s strategy of growth for Asia and beyond," he said when announcing the opening of the store here. The store features a variety of merchandise including men’s and women’s island lifestyle collection, swimwear, sportswear, golf accessories, as well as home décor items. The store, covering over 1,900 sq ft of space, is located on level 2 of the Wisma Atria in Orchard.
