M'sian King, Queen Attend Royal Tea Party

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- Malaysian King Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah on Sunday attended a royal tea party in conjunction with His Majesty's birthday at the National Palace. Tuanku Abdul Halim (centre) was accompanied by Queen Tuanku Hajah Haminah (fourth from right). Rosmah Mansor, wife of Prime Minister Najib Razak (third from right), Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin (second from left) and his wife Norainee Abdul Rahman (second from right), Cabinet ministers and local and foreign VIPs attended the event. Also present were former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad (left) and his wife Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali (right). Some 3,000 people were invited for the tea party. (photoBERNAMA) MALAYSIA
