First Malaysian State to Implement SWAT Programme

IPOH (Perak,Malaysia), June 29 (Bernama) -- Perak is the first state to move towards implementing the State Wide Approach Transformation (SWAT) programme. Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu)director-general Mohamad Zabidi Zainal said the programme was to support the national transformation agenda to make Malaysia a developed nation status by 2020. "Mampu offers' expertise and consultation services in four areas, namely, Strategic Management, ICT Strategic Management, Risk Management Plan and Service Continuity Plan," he said after launching the programme here, Thursday. He said all these plans were foundations to an organisation to move more progressively so that they could shoulder the burden for every service offered. "When there is no direction, we cannot achieve the objective which we want such as giving service to the people. "So, every organisation needs to appreciate the mission and vision which it wants to achieve as eventually it will bring benefits," he added. -- BERNAMA
