Petronas Ranks with Samsung, Toyota & TATA in Asia's Top 10

KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s PETRONAS along with Samsung Group, Toyota Motors and Tata Group were in the list of Hay Group's Asia’s Top 10 Best Companies for leadership. The global management consulting firm, which released the list on Thursday, also named the global Top 20 companies for leadership and examined how these companies nurtured talent and fostered innovation in their ranks. This year, General Electric topped the global list, followed by Procter & Gamble, IBM, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. PETRONAS also became the first and only Malaysian entity to be ranked among the 10 best leadership companies in the region, Hay Group said in a statement. When it came to innovation, Hay Group’s study found that the Asia Top 10 companies were driven by the future needs of its customers and not just the current ones. Associate Director in Hay Group Malaysia, Shahrizal Mohd Suffian said the ability to understand the current environment, as well as anticipate future trends has enabled the development of new solutions and offerings, keeping Asia’s best ahead of their competition. --BERNAMA
